When Steve and Joanna Vernetti bought Larchmont’s favorite Italian restaurant, Girasole, they were eager to bring a family dream to fruition. Larchmont residents themselves, both felt passionately about embracing the restaurant’s loyal customers while putting Chef Steve’s mark on the menu, modernizing the space and its design aesthetic, and expanding business hours to better serve the community.
We guided the Vernettis through a complicated and potentially volatile permitting process as they expanded the space, helping them forge relationships with key decision-makers at City Hall, with Larchmont Village businesses, and in the surrounding neighborhoods. We rolled out a launch campaign, securing important placements with media like Eater and Thrillist. Discerning diners from Larchmont and all over Los Angeles are loving Vernetti’s “old school meets new school Italian” menu.
